Special Features:
- High load capacity: When crimped according to specifications, the loop achieves approximately 90% of the minimum breaking load of the wire rope used.
- Easy to match: The size of the crimp sleeve always corresponds to the crimping jaw size. After crimping, the sleeve's outer diameter is double the nominal size (e.g., Size 8 → 16 mm outer diameter).
- Wide range of applications: Suitable for rope types according to EN 12385-4 with a metallic cross-section factor above 0.283 and wire rope nominal strength up to 1770 N/mm².
Application Notes:
- Before each use, a load test must be performed to verify the rope strength.
- Only use wire rope constructions compatible with the crimp sleeve processing specifications (Form A and B). Ropes with a metallic cross-section factor below 0.283 or nominal strengths above 1770 N/mm² are not suitable.
- Crimp sleeves are selected according to the splicing table.
These crimp sleeves provide a reliable and cost-efficient solution for safe processing of stainless steel wire ropes. Perfect for industrial and commercial applications where safety and load capacity are essential.
