What material are the nets made of?
The safety nets from the Hamburg Rope Factory are made from 100% non-toxic polypropylene certified according to Öko-Tex® Certificate 12.0.02466 (Standard 100). The material is particularly stable due to the manufacturing process, but not elastic. They have a square mesh shape and are made without knots. As you can see in the pictures, the ends are not heat-sealed but simply cut.
What sizes are available?
You can purchase the nets in various sizes and colors. Whether you need 0.6m, 1m, 1.5m, 2m, or 3m – our nets are suitable for a wide range of purposes.

The nets can also be custom-made to specific dimensions. Alternatively, you can cut the nets yourself to the desired size with sharp scissors. The thicker border rope does not affect the net's breaking strength.
How do I attach the net?
For your nets, you have various attachment options, depending on the application. You can purchase different attachments directly from our shop.
- Grommets: Attach the rope to a wooden or metal frame with grommets. We recommend using 6mm grommets.
- Hooks: Tension the net using our stainless steel hooks with wood thread. Drill a hole in the desired location and screw in the hook. You can then hang the net.
- Carabiners: Attach the net with one or more carabiners to your trailer or railing. The carabiners allow you to reattach the net as needed.
- Rope: Thread the rope through the mesh of the net and around, for example, your railing. You can either use our Top-Cruising rope sold by the meter or buy this braided cord on a spool.
What can I use the nets for?
You can use the safety nets for a variety of applications, including as cat protection nets on balconies, securing bunk beds, load securing on your trailer, as pool boundary, stair protection, or railing nets, and many other uses.
Use as a loft or lounging net is not recommended.
