Stainless Steel V4A End Cap for Wire Ropes
Our high-quality soft V4A stainless steel end caps provide a clean and secure finish for wire ropes. They protect rope ends from fraying and sharp edges, reducing the risk of injury from exposed wire strands. Available in two sizes – suitable for wire ropes with 3.0 mm or 4.0 mm diameter.

Application
The end cap is mounted on the cut end of the wire rope to prevent unwanted splaying or deformation of the strands and to reliably cover sharp wire ends.
Installation Instructions
- Cut the wire rope cleanly with a wire rope cutter.
- After cutting, twist the rope slightly in the direction of the strands.
- Slide the end cap onto the rope with a twisting motion.
- Crimp the cap using pliers (e.g. water pump pliers).
Tip: For an especially strong crimp, we recommend using the B12 crimping tool together with matching BM crimp inserts.
